How the words and the numbers on this site are made — and who checks them.

Where our astronomical data comes from

Every piece of astronomical data on Astrologger — planetary positions, panchang elements, dasha periods — is computed by our own sidereal ephemeris engine. We do not copy transit tables from other websites or reprint canned almanac content. When a page tells you where Saturn sits or when a tithi ends, that figure was calculated by our engine.

How long-form articles are written

Our long-form articles — the blog, the yearly horoscopes and the guides — are AI-drafted. We say that plainly because we believe you should know how what you read was made. Every draft is then fact-checked against engine-computed data: for example, every transit date in our 2026 yearly horoscopes was verified against our own ephemeris before publication, and dated claims elsewhere are checked against the same engine.

After fact-checking, each astrology article is reviewed by Aacharya Aditya Dwivedi, our astrology editor — a Vedic astrologer with 25 years of experience — who checks that classical concepts are represented faithfully. Our editorial lead Neha Tripathi oversees clarity, tone and consistency with this policy. An article goes live only after this review, and every AI-assisted page on the site discloses that it is AI-assisted.

How daily readings are made

Daily readings are generated fresh each day from that day's computed panchang and planetary positions. They are AI-assisted, with a deterministic, engine-grounded fallback — so even when the AI layer is unavailable, what you read is still generated from the day's computed panchang and planetary positions rather than recycled year-round copy.

How we talk about astrology

Astrology on this site is presented as tradition and guidance, never as certainty. We describe what Vedic tradition says about a placement or a period, and we leave room for your own judgement. Two commitments follow from that: we do not publish fear-based content, and we do not sell remedies. You will not find pages here designed to frighten you into a purchase, because there is nothing to purchase at the end of the fear.

We take mistakes seriously. If you spot an error — a wrong date, a misstated tradition, a broken calculation — please reach us through the contact page. We review every report and fix errors promptly.
